We make it easy for you to order, store, and use Puritan products. Our packaging is designed for user convenience and simplified inventory control. Look here for more information.

Packing configurations
You’ll find specific packing details here on our Web site and in our price list. For example, 10/100/1 means 10 boxes to the case; 100 sterile packets to the box; 1 sterile product per packet.

Product numbers can also provide packaging information for sterile products. For example, Puritan cotton-tipped applicator, 25-806 1PC has one sterile product per packet; 25-806 2PC has two per packet.

No-waste sterile packaging
Our packaging reflects customer use. For instance, sterile products that will likely be used one or two at a time are wrapped individually or in pairs to maintain sterility and reduce waste.

Color coded packaging
You’ll find that Puritan packaging is color coded, to represent the materials used for our products. This makes it easy for you to put your hands on the right box when you’re looking for cotton, rayon, or polyester tipped applicators, or other Puritan products. Color coding is useful for inventory control and an added safety feature for the healthcare practitioner.

UCC/EAN bar coding
Our products are UCC/EAN bar coded to provide added convenience in inventory control. Outer and shipping boxes and cases — product boxes and packages — even sterile wrappers — are bar coded.

Multi-language content information
We provide complete content information on all packaging, in English, Spanish, French, and German. You’ll also find, in English, the sizes of the product, and information on sterility and individual packaging. This data is printed on three sides of each case and box, and on the front of individually wrapped packets and products. That makes it easy to see no matter how our products are stored, stacked, or used.
